Mission Statement

Magalong Beach Resort is to provide a quiet get-away for guests seeking tranquility as they rest and relax from their busy lives. The time spent self-pampering, walking on the beach, witnessing sunrise and sunset, enjoying the ocean breeze, listening to the waves at night and the singing birds residing on the property is what Magalong Beach Resort offers.

It is also the mission of this place that each person stepping foot on the grounds of the Holy Land in Busuanga to experience God’s Blessed Presence in the midst of the preserved trees and go back home and to their communities with joyful, renewed spirit, sharing daily, small deed offerings to others. Holy Land in Busuanga’s ultimate goal is to save as many souls as possible by focusing temporal earthly lives communing with God, receiving His wisdom daily to live right and with hearts focused on Eternal life.

Our Goal

Magalong Beach Resort (MBR) / Holy Land in Busuanga (HLB) welcomes everyone from all walks of life and from different faiths. Our goal is to provide a place of reflection, to recharge, reenergize and renew life commitments and purpose.

HLB's central theme is to re-live the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus through the Blessed Mother Mary’s mysteries of the rosary: Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous and Glorious Mysteries.

The man-made cave with a 3 ft and 6 ft wood carved three-dimensional Nativity is converted into a chapel after the missionary priests’ retreat at Magalong Villa in 2024. Catholic Mass can be held here with proper coordination to Salvacion Parish Priest, Fr. Tone Ducado and the HLB staff.

On any given day of the year and especially during Lent, a crowd of people walk through the wood carved 14 Stations of the Cross passing through Crucified Jesus and ending in the Risen Christ intentionally placed where the sun sets. This represents Resurrection, the heart of Christianity.

The 10 ft wood carved Sleeping St Joseph parallels the dreams of St Joseph, foster father of Jesus with the owner’s dreams in obedience to fulfilling the outcome of this project.

The Magalong Beach Resort is built to supplement Holy Land in Busuanga’s mission in the inclusion of all faith, welcoming and inspiring others to join HLB’s community services and initiate ministries that will enrich the lives of the underprivileged population locally.

The owner’s last two dreams were seeing two images of Jesus: Head of Jesus emerging from the mud and rising to a three floor height. Jesus’ two wood carved images seen on the stations closest to the ocean is how HLB project concluded.
